Shipping and returns

Shipping

We are only shipping in the US and to Canada at this time. All orders are currently being shipped within 3-7 business days after the order is placed and paid for via USPS (smaller orders) or UPS (larger orders) 

You will be responsible for shipping costs and any associated fees, including signature confirmation (included only if requested.) Please email us at jdcandleco.com if you would like to request a signature confirmation be added to your order. 

For domestic orders, USPS First-Class Mail and Priority Mail delivery is typically 1-3 business days from ship date.

International orders are shipped via the least expensive method in order to save you costs. For international orders, you (the buyer) assume financial responsibility for any & all customs fees and expenses. JD Candle Co. is not responsible for paying such fees. International orders can take 7+ days to arrive to you once shipped. Keep an eye on your tracking information to stay up to date with your order status.


Once your order has shipped, you will receive an e-mail notification with all tracking information. Shipping costs are calculated by package weight. JD Candle Co. is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address. Please be sure to double check your shipping address at check out. If your package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect/undeliverable address or business closure and is "returned to sender", JD Candle Co. is not responsible for any shipping charges or fees. We'd be happy to ship your package back to a different address, but you will be asked to cover shipping costs for reshipment.  


Please note that JD Candle Co. has no control over transit times once our packages are in possession of the mail carrier. Should your package become delayed or lost, a claim will need to be filed with the shipping carrier.  


Returns & Exchanges

***DUE TO COVID-19, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY RETURNS OR EXCHANGES AT THE MOMENT.


We are not accepting returns at the moment, but your satisfaction is our top priority! I want you to love what you ordered. If you are not happy with your purchase for whatever reason and would like to discuss a possible credit/exchange, please email us at jdcandleco@gmail.com. No exchanges will be accepted on candles that have already been lit.

If a return is accepted: The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges for returns. JD Candle Co. does not assume responsibility for packages containing returns that are poorly packaged or lost in transit. We do not replace orders that are shipped with no tracking information. Any packages sent back without instructions and tracking information will be returned to sender.

Damages

Each order is carefully wrapped to help ensure a safe delivery to you! While we do our very best to make sure everything arrives safely -- damages can happen! If your candle(s) or product(s) arrive in an unusable state, please provide photo evidence (include both the product(s) & shipping box, if possible) within 3 days from delivery. A damage claim will need to be filed with the shipping carrier, and we will work to find a viable solution.
